Debbie Fisch reminded me of something this morning that has stayed with me all-day!
When we met at 11 and 12 years old, going into JB we would go out for the day, walk for miles, take the bus to Hollywood or horseback riding at Picwick Stables in Burbank, (as with Renee and Marlene Barnes also) we did not have cell phones and we all did just fine.
There is not a chance in hell we would let our 11 year old granddaughters do that today.
A shame how LA has changed.

Nathan Hochman, a former federal prosecutor, Assistant U.S. Attorney General, President of the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission and defense attorney, will be running off against George Gascon for District Attorney of Los Angeles County in November. Nathan believes politics has no place in the D.A.’s Office.
