This one was all about strategy, patience, and timing.

I know I may get some backlash for this, and I mean absolutely no disrespect to any artists.

The truth is that words are powerful, and I don’t want our boys growing up thinking that rap lyrics or the “rapper lifestyle” should be their goal in life. And trust me, ya girl enjoys some rap music too.

What encouraged me most was hearing their responses when we unpacked what that lifestyle really looks like. They were able to name many rappers who were shot and killed, and they weren’t impressed by it or convinced that it was something to glorify. They recognized the reality behind it and didn’t see it as “cool.”

Praise God for wisdom, discernment, and conversations that matter. Oh, and radio edit rap songs. 🙌🙌🙌🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Exposure is everything.

I’ll never forget when I first entered this business. So many people told me it wasn’t appropriate to include my children (then just babies and toddlers) in my day-to-day work. But I’ve always believed in creating my own space, not waiting for permission to exist in someone else’s.

One thing I will never do is spend my time teaching others how to build wealth through real estate and business while leaving my own sons out of the conversation. They deserve a front-row seat to the lessons, opportunities, and mindset that can change the trajectory of their lives.

I’m breaking generational cycles. I’m rewriting our family’s story. And I’m showing my children what’s possible by letting them witness the journey firsthand.
