If you believe your property's market value is lower than its Prop. 13 tax base, you may file an application for a Decline-In-Value Review starting today, July 2 through Monday, November 30, 2026. A Decline-In-Value Review allows the Assessor's Office to determine whether your property should receive a temporary reduction in assessed value based on current market conditions, which could lower the property taxes for the 2026-27 tax year.
