π California Housing Update β November Snapshot! π
After an unusually busy early-fall, home sales cooled off in November across the countryβand Los Angeles felt it too.
πΉ Nationwide sales of single-family homes & condos fell 8.6% year-over-year in November.
πΉ L.A., San Francisco, and San Diego all reversed course after strong September/October gains.
πΉ San Jose saw the steepest California drop, down 20.1% from last year.
πΉ Good news for buyers: inventory over the past three months is up 15% and mortgage rates have ticked down from their summer peak.
What this means for Greater LA:
β’ More homes to choose from than last fall.
β’ Slightly lower borrowing costs could stretch budgets further.
β’ Sellers still benefit from 12-month sales totals that remain higher than the previous year.
