​Here are the key details for property owners in unincorporated LA County:

✳️ ​New Threshold: Landlords can no longer file for eviction (unlawful detainer) until a tenant owes at least two full months of Fair Market Rent (FMR).

✅️​ Previous Rule: The threshold was previously set at only one month of FMR.

✅️​ Applicability: This applies to all units under the County’s "just cause" eviction rules, including single-family homes and condos.

✅️​ Calculation: The specific dollar amount depends on the HUD Fair Market Rent for your unit size and ZIP code.
