Sometimes you can’t fully appreciate the after until you see the before. ❤️

A year and a half of restoring, reimagining, and bringing this little 1915 schoolhouse back to life.

Swipe to see just how far The Little Schoolhouse has come. 🏫✨

Still smiling over this night. ❤️

After a year and a half of restoring, designing, collecting, and bringing The Little Schoolhouse back to life, it was pretty special to finally open the doors and share it with our community.

Seeing the schoolhouse filled once again with former students and teachers, neighbors, friends, community partners, and so many who helped make this restoration possible was something we’ll never forget. Once the heartbeat of Bibb City, it felt like the perfect way to celebrate its history and begin its next chapter.

We’re especially grateful to the Greater Columbus HBA for partnering with us to bring this evening together and helping make the open house such a success.

Here are just a few of our favorite moments from a very special night at Bibb City’s Little Schoolhouse. ✏️🏫❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us!

So grateful to see The Little Schoolhouse and the story behind its restoration featured by the Ledger-Enquirer! ❤️

This project has been a year and a half of restoring, researching, collecting stories, and bringing a special piece of Bibb City history back to life. Seeing so many former students, teachers, neighbors, friends, and community leaders come through its doors again made the day even more meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate—and to the Ledger-Enquirer for sharing the story of this little schoolhouse that was once the heartbeat of Bibb City. 🏫❤️

We’re excited for its next chapter!

“The project is a wonderful example of what can happen when historic preservation and talents of the local building industry come together.”

A huge thank you to Gallerie 143 for donating this beautiful vintage chalkboard to Bibb City’s Little Schoolhouse. It’s one of those special pieces that helped bring our vision to life, adding an authentic touch that honors the history of this incredible space. We’re so grateful for your generosity and support!

Some buildings hold memories. This one helped shape a community. ❤️

For generations, children walked through these doors, teachers inspired young minds, and families created memories that still live on today.

Now, after months of restoration, we’re opening the doors once again.

We’re honored to partner with the Greater Columbus HBA to host this special community open house celebrating the restoration of Bibb City’s Little Schoolhouse.

Whether you attended the school, had family who did, grew up in Bibb City, or simply appreciate preserving local history, we’d love for you to join us. Walk the halls, see the transformation, reconnect with old friends, and share your stories.

Because restoring a historic building is about more than saving bricks and mortar—it’s about preserving the memories and bringing a community’s story to life.
