Happy birthday to my bestie, Zaneta. 🤍

15+ years ago, we met at a pool. You complimented my arms, I complimented your legs… and apparently that was all it took. 😂 We’ve been best friends ever since.

When I think about all the life we’ve lived since then, I’m just so grateful God gave me you.

I’ve watched you grow into such a beautiful woman, as a mother, wife, daughter, friend, and most importantly, a woman of God. Your faith in the Lord is unwavering, your heart is huge, and your talents are endless. Your voice, your guitar, your creativity… God has given you so many beautiful gifts.

But one of the greatest gifts is simply who you are as a friend.

You are the person I can come to with ANYTHING, and I mean anything. 😂 There is NOTHING we can’t talk about. You’ve walked beside me through some of the happiest moments of my life and some of the hardest. You’ve always been a constant, a safe place, and a pillar in my life.

You’re my bestie, but more than that, you’re family.

You even opened your home ON YOUR BIRTHDAY, to Jon and I so we could get married there. Because of you, we share an incredibly special time every year, and that will always mean so much to me.

So yes… this post is a day late. But I hope you know how deeply loved and appreciated you are. ♥️

I couldn’t imagine doing this life without you. And as you already know, I’m not going anywhere. This is a lifetime friendship. Through every season ahead, I’m ALWAYS here. Forever.

I love you, Z! I’m so grateful God crossed our paths all those years ago.

10 years together. 7 years married. 🤍

September 6, 2016: our first date.

Off-roading through the back of Big Bear to Holcomb Valley, bouldering, laughing until our stomachs hurt, and ending the day at Saucy Mama’s, where you dumped an entire jar of red chili flakes on your pizza and I laughed so hard mozzarella came out of my nose. 😂

Three years and one day later, September 7, 2019:

I became your wife.

Ten years has given us some of the most beautiful memories of my life, but it has also brought some of our deepest losses and heartbreaks. We’ve had to lean on each other, pray for each other, and sometimes simply hold each other through things we couldn’t fix.

And through every high and every valley, the Lord has been our Rock.

“The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust.” - Psalm 18:2

We have so many dreams, plans, and adventures still ahead of us. I know life will bring more mountaintops and more valleys, but I also know that with the Lord as our foundation, we can face whatever comes.

I don’t know how people do this life without Him, and I’m so grateful we don’t have to.

I’m grateful for you, baby. I’m grateful for us. And I’m especially grateful for a marriage built on the Rock. 🤍

Happy 7th anniversary. Ten years down, and so much life still ahead of us. I love you.

SOLD! 🎉🏡 And this one has a STORY.

This property had SO much interest from day one. The views were there. The showings were there. The buyers were looking… but the offers weren’t coming.

And when the market talks, I listen.

We adjusted the price. We got an offer. We negotiated… and they walked away.

We were told two more offers were coming. They didn’t.

Then we finally found ourselves in a multiple-offer situation, only for the winning buyer to turn around and ask for a $70,000 price reduction and ultimately back out.

So… back on the market we went.

Frustrating? Absolutely. But one thing I’ve learned in real estate is that the wrong buyer walking away can make room for the right one.
