Wendy joined us for a birthday getaway with 9 adults, 3 kids — and a pet — and had this to say:

Wendy celebrated a birthday at Edgar’s Hideaway with 9 adults, 3 kids and a pet — and had plenty of room for everyone.

🌲 A Great Big Bear Activity: Alpine Pedal Path 🚲

Great post from the Mountains Foundation highlighting the Alpine Pedal Path—one of the easiest and most scenic ways to enjoy Big Bear Lake.

The paved trail runs along the North Shore and is great for walking, biking, families, and anyone looking for a relaxing way to enjoy the lake and mountain scenery.

Definitely worth adding to the itinerary during your next stay at Edgar’s Hideaway. 🏡🐾

🌙 TWILIGHT SAFARI IS BACK IN BIG BEAR! 🐻🦉

Looking for something a little different to do during an October weekend in Big Bear?

The Big Bear Alpine Zoo is bringing back its Twilight Safari, a special after-dark guided tour where guests can experience the animals—and the sights and sounds of the zoo—as evening settles over the mountains.

📅 October 10, 17 & 24
🕔 Tours begin at 5:00 p.m. with several evening time slots
🎟️ $30 per person; children 3 and under are free
⚠️ Advance online tickets are required and space is limited.
