Twin Spindle Tuesday: Check out this unique offering from SMTCL for high production volumes. This horizontal machining center is designed to machine both sides of parts simultaneously. I've shown images without the sheet metal so you can see the mechanical layout of the machine. The columns supporting the spindles each have a XY&Z axis while the table travels on an additional X-axis plane. This is a twin CNC system as well, operating independently as a left and right side.
