NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE FOR SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 27th.

We will be shutting down a part of Wood Ave (see below) for the Grizzly Grilling in the Gap First of Fall Festival. The roads will be closed from 6am till Midnight on Saturday Sept, 27th. We will be placing notices on all the poles along Wood Ave so make sure any vehicles parked along the closed routs are moved by Friday (Midnight Sept 26th).

We will be placing a large stage downtown near the Visitor Center with live music from noon till 10pm. The Steak Cookoff contestants will be setting up for grilling along Wood Ave in parking spots as will craft/food vendors.

NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE FOR SATURDAY AUGUST 9th

We will be shutting down a part of Wood Ave (see below) for the Route 58 Car Show presented by The Ole Clunkers Car Club. The roads will be closed from 3pm to 8pm on August 9th. We will be placing notices on all the poles along Wood Ave so make sure any vehicles parked along the closed routes are moved by 3pm (after the lunch rush) Saturday.

We will be lining cars up from GoodTimes all the way down past Big Cherry along Wood Ave and we will have Kudzu Killers Playing at the Visitor Center. Registration for the event and the Event Hub will be The Big Stone Gap Visitor Center.
