There is a lot going on at the Kootenai at the moment!
The Florman cabin is close to having its restoration finished. The last of the historic 1920s cabins to be restored sits, quite literally, on the waters edge (at high water). The view is arguably the best on the property. The tiling is done, grout is in process, cabinetry frames are done, bench tops are being cut and the floor is going down this week. We cannot wait to see the final product in a few weeks!
The Keresey cabin which was completed late-2021 is having a stunning garage, guest quarters and office extension done. The framing is up, concrete slab has been poured and the team at Smart Construction is pushing along. We can’t wait to see the finished product here too!
It was only 3 years ago that these two historic cabins were bat infested and in very poor shape. To give them life again is so special.
