‼️Has the Billings housing market finally shifted?‼️

Yes. But a shift and a crash are two very different things.

We're not in the same market we were a few years ago when homes could hit the market and immediately have buyers scrambling.

There's more inventory now. Buyers have more options and more negotiating power. Homes are taking longer to sell. And sellers have to pay much closer attention to pricing.

That's not necessarily bad news for either side.

For buyers, we're seeing opportunities that were much harder to find during the frenzy.

For sellers, homes are still selling, but the strategy matters. Pricing a home based on what the market was doing two or three years ago isn't the way I'd approach today's market.

Sometimes your office view changes… and that’s one of the biggest reasons so many of us get into real estate: the freedom it provides.
