This is one of those terms that can make a big difference for buyers 👏

A seller concession is when the seller agrees to cover part of the buyer’s closing costs- things like loan fees, title costs, or prepaid expenses. Instead of the buyer bringing all that cash upfront, some of it gets covered within the deal.

It’s especially helpful for buyers trying to keep more money in their pocket after closing… which is usually when expenses start adding up fast 😅

These aren’t always guaranteed, but in certain markets or negotiations, they can absolutely be on the table.

Buyers are simply trying to figure out what works for their lifestyle, their needs, and their budget. The more you can separate emotion from the process, the easier it becomes to stay objective and make smart decisions along the way. Because at the end of the day, it’s a transaction and not a judgment 💛
