🏡 Well, this showing took me straight down memory lane! 😂

This weekend I showed a house that sits right across the street from the very first little house we lived in when we moved to Billings almost 27 years ago!

That little 718 sq. ft. house was where it all started. We got married, brought our firstborn daughter home, and somehow managed to fit our life into a space that now makes me wonder… WHAT WERE WE THINKING?! 😂

Fast forward almost 27 years, and here I am, a real estate agent, showing a house right across the street. Talk about a full-circle moment!

It was so fun seeing that little house again and remembering those early days. ❤️

There’s just something about your first home. It doesn’t have to be your forever home, and you might not even be there very long, but those first four walls often hold some of the biggest beginnings—and a whole lot of memories.

And apparently, they also hold memories of how little stuff we used to own. 😂

I recently had the opportunity to help a young woman buy her very first home, and this one was extra exciting! ❤️
She was able to use a City of Billings down payment assistance program that provided 20% toward her down payment! 😳🙌
YES… 20%! 🎉
And this is exactly why I tell people: DON’T count yourself out before you even ask!
I hear all the time:
💭 “I don’t have enough saved.”
💭 “I thought I needed 20% down.”
