All these real estate shows on Netflix don't always paint an accurate picture of what it's like to work in the industry.

But there are two things that they get right:
1. It actually really is tough
2. The work culture can be extremely toxic.

While I've experienced some level of drama, I know that the competitive nature of this industry can bring out the worst in people. It's cutthroat. It's exhausting. It's demoralizing. Thankfully, my wonderful start at T&E taught me that it doesn't have to be that way. 🤎 Fast forward to 2026, I carried my vision of a positive work culture into The Tounsley Group (formerly The Real Estate Collective).

To succeed in this business, it requires teamwork and a good community backing you up. NO gatekeeping, or lowballing, or cattiness. I believe that you have nothing to lose and everything to gain when you uplift others. I'm thankful every day that I get to pave my own path and make a difference, not only with our clients, but with my colleagues too. 💕

▶ The Mindset Mentor – quick mindset reset on the way to the gym.
▶ The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show – I’ve been loving the health episodes.
▶ The Kick-Ass Stepmom Podcast – blended family gold.
▶ The Emily Show – my almost-went-to-law-school heart is thriving.
▶ The Viall Files – currently on pause… if there’s an Austen apology update, report back.

The biggest shift for me lately? Managing input.

But I will say this: Presentation matters.

If selling your home is even *on your mind* right now… then please swipe. Because not every home should be marketed the same way. And honestly? Most of them are.

Same photos.
Same pricing strategy.
Same “let’s see what happens” energy.

That’s not how we work.

Every home has its own pressure points - the layout, the light, the neighborhood, the timing, what you actually need from the sale. We pay attention to all of it.

You’d have to pry me out of Billings at this point.
The wind that humbles your hair, the “is it winter or spring?” mood swings, and the fact that construction season is basically a personality trait here… and I’m still not going anywhere.

And why would I when we get golden hour that feels illegal, mountain views from every corner, a growing - thriving community, trails five minutes from my front door, and space to actually breathe (like… real quiet, not city “quiet”).

There’s a lifestyle here that just works, once you feel it, you don’t really want to leave. It's something real.
