The Billings real estate market continues to show resilience as we head toward fall.

Home values remain slightly ahead of where they were this time last year, while fewer new listings and slightly lower inventory are keeping available homes in check.

At the same time, properties are spending noticeably longer on the market.

What does that mean? Homes are still selling, but patience, preparation and pricing matter.
