Football season is back! As the Gulfport Admirals kick off their season tonight in Picayune, we’re taking a look back at the completed work on Gulfport High School’s football stadium!

The Admirals will have their first home game of the season on September 11, and we can’t wait to see this space come alive under the Friday night lights!

Until then, check out this aerial footage of the new stadium that was constructed around their existing practice field on campus. Here’s to a great season with our reigning 7A State Champions!

Yesterday, MP Design Group hosted a Lunch & Learn organized by Mississippi Concrete Association Executive Director, Les Howell, PE! We had the opportunity to learn more about ICF construction, as well as concrete parking lots and roadways. As the Pascagoula-Gautier School District welcomes students back to school, progress rolls along for the Colmer and Gautier Middle School Security Upgrades. In addition to improving student and faculty safety, the features refreshed school entries and canopies.

LOCAL | EDUCATION | Jackson County School District is spending $22 million to add classrooms across three upper elementary schools and move all third graders to new campuses.

Construction is already underway at St. Martin Upper Elementary, where 18 new classrooms are being added. Vancleave Upper Elementary will receive 10 new classrooms, and East Central Upper Elementary will gain eight.

Superintendent David Baggett said the shift of third graders to upper elementary schools will also create room for growth at the lower elementaries.

Earthwork and foundation construction are underway at the site of Biloxi's new Upper Elementary School. The new 150,000+ SF school will provide safe, innovative learning environments for Biloxi's 5th and 6th grade students. MP is proud to provide architecture and engineering design for the Biloxi Public School District as they continue their commitment to investing in facilities for their students, faculty, and staff.
