💔✨ THE WORLD LOST A LITTLE SPARKLE TODAY.

Today, we join millions of people in remembering the incomparable Dolly Parton, who passed away at the age of 80.

There are stars… and then there are people who somehow become part of the fabric of our lives.

Dolly was one of those people. ❤️

She gave us songs we sang at the top of our lungs. She made us laugh. She showed generations that you could dream BIG without ever forgetting where you came from.

But perhaps what made Dolly so special wasn't simply her incredible talent.

It was her heart.

Her generosity.
Her humor.
Her authenticity.
Her love of people.
Her commitment to helping children learn to read.
And her remarkable ability to make the world feel just a little brighter.

She taught us that success doesn't have to change who you are—and that you can accomplish extraordinary things while still leading with kindness.

Today we're thinking about that last word.

Hey y’all, meet Matthew. This was our real estate rescue, yesterday! Isn’t he cute?! Anyways, Matthew has an ear infection and is safely being cared for by Wild at Heart Rescue, here locally!

Fun facts/ traits about these critters:

Tick eaters: One opossum can eat up to 5,000 ticks in a single year. This helps keep people safe from tick sickness.

Playing dead: When very scared, they fall into an involuntary coma-like state, drool, and smell bad to trick predators.

Ancient animals: Their family goes back over 70 million years, meaning they lived alongside dinosaurs
