All departments are integrated and use the latest technological innovations, which promotes efficiency while maintaining personal service. In the development of all new or existing properties, The Surnow Company takes the pulse of the community’s sensibilities. Our thoughtful and sustainable approach acknowledges community needs and preferences and is sensitive to location and culture. Properties flourish with community support, cooperation and enthusiasm. Our developments are long-term investments and more than half of the properties we manage were developed ourselves. Our in-house skilled tradesman and accounting department make up a fully integrated asset and physical property management team that consistently over-delivers to our tenants and clients. Commercial leasing is the third part of our capability integration. Whether leasing to a new or renewing tenant of one of our own properties, or as a third-party broker, we strive to match the best location for each tenant based on community input and marketing research. The integration of our first-class property management capabilities and our principled commercial leasing methodology has resulted in a tenant retention rate consistently above the industry average.
