It might be spooky season but today I'm sharing 3 things that will NEVER scare off buyers (aka, tips for attracting more buyers and increasing your home sale price)!

1. Neutral Paint Colors - Give buyers a blank canvas so they can envision their dream Pottery Barn couch in the center of the living room where they'll have movie nights and play games! Neutral paint will never scare off buyers.
*Bonus Tip: Beware of making your home look sterile. Keep it cozy, not hospital-esque!

2. Staging - From a report by National Association of Realtors: 82% of buyers’ agents said staging a home made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as a future home. Don't skip staging!

3. Top notch home maintenance - Don't leave the repairs for the buyers. Take care of them before you put your house on the market to avoid buyers subtracting those repairs from their offer price (and at a greater price than what it would cost you to just get it done)!

There you have it…. The 3 things that never scare off buyers!

On July 1st we got the news that my father in law had suddenly passed away. Wouldn’t you know I was literally walking out the door to show clients who had just come into town from California 6 homes 😳 I called her and without hesitation she said, “hang up, pack, and go… I’ve got this!” She will never know what that moment meant to me!!
