If you haven't followed the story of the historic 'Pink House' of Homewood, AL, here's the link. It's an inspiring story of how the Homewood community pulled together and save this beautiful piece of property.

There's actually a very similar story happening with the Smith Farm property over in Bluff Park, Alabama. It's a large family estate going up for auction at the end of this month. After word got out about the Pink House being saved by community involvement, neighboring Bluff Park decided to do the same and put together a large email campaign to Hoover's City Council on why they should preserve this community landmark for Bluff Park.
