When it comes to selling your home, put yourself in the buyers shoes. What would YOU expect walking into a house you were wanting to buy? You want it to feel “homey”. That’s the goal.

The value of your home will increase tremendously if you can sell them the feeling that your house feels like “home”. And it’s always the little things. Sure, replacing the HVAC, the roof and all of that are great but nobody buys a house because you spent $400 extra dollars installing a water heater.

Also, buyers are extremely picky. You may have your house priced decently but once they see all those nail holes, scuffs against the wall, stains in the carpet, they’re already deducting the price in their heads, I promise you. Do all these things mentioned above and light a couple of candles to top it off and you’ll be ready to see those offers rolling in. First impressions sell houses.
