Larry previously managed two Realty South offices as a broker/manager and worked with both Cendant (Realogy) and Realty South in mergers and Acquisitions of real estate companies. In early 2019, Larry served on the Development Team for the transaction management system (ELIXIR) implemented by HomeServices of America for their 50+ companies across the country. Well rewarded for his work, over the years Larry has earned many accolades, both from a brokerage and local real estate association level for production as well as quality customer service. Larry enjoys walking sellers through the often-complicated selling process and ensuring a smooth transition. This experience carries over to his work with buyers, ensuring that they can write a competitive contract and secure the home of their dreams at the best possible price! Larry also proudly holds the John Maxwell Certification as a Trainer, Coach, and Speaker in addition to being a
licensed instructor with the Alabama Real Estate Commission. A true Birmingham native, Larry was raised in Mountain Brook and is still proud to call Alabama his home. Larry is an alumnus of Indian Springs School and Birmingham-Southern College. He has been active in his community for many years, having served as President (2X) for the Exchange Club of Birmingham, and has been a member of Canterbury United Methodist Church for all his adult life, having also served as a Stephen Minister Leader, and as a board member for the Counseling Center. Larry previously served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Birmingham Association of Realtors, and as an ARPAC trustee for the Alabama Association of Realtors. Larry was also chairman of several Birmingham Association of Realtors committees and played significant roles in lobbying political issues facing the real estate industry in both Montgomery and Washington D.C. Larry’s dedication to helping people and his community carries over into his real estate career.
