PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE PURGING OF THE SITE-BASED WAITING LIST

Tuxedo Terrace Apartments I & II a Mixed-Income Multi-Family Community is purging its waiting list for apartment units eligible to receive rental assistance in several of its 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments/townhomes.

Waitlist Purging Period:
February 18, 2018 – March 20, 2018
Between the dates listed above anyone that applied and/or placed their name on the waiting list at Tuxedo Terrace Apartments I & II between January 2011 and December 2016 must contact Tuxedo Terrace Apartments I & II in the manner listed below and provide their name, address and phone number in order to remain on the waiting list.

After 3/20/2018 all persons on the waiting list between 2011 and 2016 that have not contacted Tuxedo Terrace Apartments I & II in the manner listed above will be removed from the waiting list. No contact information will be taken in person or over the phone.
Eligibility Reminders
Annual Household Income:
In order to be eligible, the applicant household’s Annual Household Income cannot exceed the following amounts for households that include the indicated number of members:

Maximum Annual Household Income 1 person - $26,880, 2 people -$30,720, 3 people - $34,560, 4 people - $38,400, 5 people - $41,520, 6 people - $44,580, 7 people - $47,640 and 8 people - $50,700
Priority Categories:
Eligible applicants are ranked on the site-based waiting list according to the recorded date and time their fully completed pre-application forms were received and accepted by management.
All applicants must pass a credit and criminal background check prior to being considered for the site-based waiting list. Please note that an applicant desiring to lease an assisted apartment must comply with all applicable eligibility criteria, including but not limited to the criteria set forth in the pre-application. All information provided by the applicant will be verified from all applicable sources including, but not limited to employers, providers, and federal, state and local government agencies. Applicants who have misrepresented any information during the application process may be removed from the site-based waiting list or, if housed, subject to lease termination. In addition, applicants who have previously participated in any assisted housing program and were terminated for cause may not be eligible. Applicants who are determined ineligible will be offered the opportunity to participate in an informal meeting with management to dispute the ineligibility decision.
Requests for Reasonable Accommodations during the pre-application process will be taken as well.
