💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month! 💜

At Pathways, we stand with survivors and believe everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued.

This month, our staff participated in a domestic violence awareness training led by one of our interns, Tiffany! The training helped our team continue learning how to better recognize, understand, and support those impacted by domestic violence.

Together, we can continue raising awareness, supporting survivors, and creating a community where everyone feels safe. 💜

🎃✨ Things got a little competitive at Pathways!

We kicked off the Halloween fun early with a Pumpkin Decorating Competition, and our ladies did not disappoint! From creative designs to lots of laughs, everyone brought their A-game especially with cash prizes on the line! 💵🏆

We love creating moments like these where the women we serve can have fun, get creative, connect with one another, and simply enjoy the season. 🧡

❤️Your story matters. Stay one more day.

During Su***de Prevention Month, Brittany Hill and Jude Washington courageously shared their stories with the women we serve at Pathways, offering encouragement, hope, and a reminder that difficult seasons do not have to be the end of the story.

Brittany’s journey with Pathways has come full circle from former resident, to serving on our Junior Executive Board, to now being a member of our staff. Together, Brittany and Jude reminded our clients of the importance of choosing to stay one more day, even when that choice feels difficult.

They also showed their love through action by providing yummy snacks and donating clothing and shoes for the women and children we serve. ❤️

We are so grateful for Brittany and Jude for giving their time, sharing their stories, and pouring back into our Pathways community. Sometimes hope begins with simply choosing to stay one more day. ❤️

The tribe has spoken! 🔥🏝️📺

Our Safe Haven ladies kicked off the Survivor Season 51 premiere last week with a watch party, and the fun is just getting started!

Every Wednesday at 8:00 PM, Safe Haven is tuning in together for Survivor—complete with laughs, snacks, predictions, and a little friendly competition. 💙

Sometimes community is built in the simplest moments, and we love creating opportunities for our ladies to relax, connect, and enjoy time together.

A huge thank you to the Regions Culinary Team! 💚

Not only are they amazing and incredibly kind, but they always go the extra mile to support Pathways. After helping us, they made sure everything was put back in our storage area and even helped us patch holes around the building. 🛠️💙

It’s the little things and the willingness to lend a hand wherever needed that mean so much to us. We are so grateful for their continued kindness, generosity, and support of Pathways and the women and children we serve!

Our Pathways team is wearing PINK with love and purpose! 🩷🎀

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re honoring everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer celebrating survivors, supporting those currently facing a diagnosis, remembering those we’ve lost, and holding their loved ones close.

We’re especially grateful to celebrate one of our own, Monica, a wonderful member of our Social Work team and a breast cancer survivor. Monica, we celebrate you and are so thankful you’re part of our Pathways family! 🩷

May this month be a gentle reminder to care for ourselves and one another. Stay informed about breast health, encourage the people you love to do the same, and talk with a healthcare provider about screenings that may be right for you.

Together, we wear pink for awareness, hope, support, and community. 🎀🩷
