My Story

With almost twenty years of sales experience and almost ten as an entrepreneur creating and growing small businesses, I’ve learned the value of hard work, never quitting and giving my clients the best customer service and attention. Building lifelong relationships and trust by always following through on any promise, constantly informing and teaching, and doing my absolute best to reach and exceed goals is what makes me happy and successful.

I was born and raised in metro Atlanta and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. I started my career in Atlanta in advertising agency account service but quickly moved into radio advertising sales and worked in Atlanta, New York City and Connecticut. In my almost two decades of sales I realized that I love building successful long- term relationships and working with clients to creatively market their products. After becoming a mom of three, I went back to school at the New York Botanical Garden for education in landscape design and horticulture which inspired me to start a garden design business in Connecticut. When we moved to Michigan, my prior success motivated me to start Grace Gardens. Building relationships and creating solutions through designs for outdoor spaces that enriched my clients’ lives gave me incredible joy and satisfaction.

I have three funny and amazing kids, a supportive husband who keeps me laughing and two sweet and adorable dogs. I love to run, cook, travel, exercise and push myself to always conquer new challenges. I just ran my first half marathon in February of 2018. I am a loud and devoted fan of University of Georgia football…Go Dawgs!

I am very involved as a member and active volunteer at Franklin Community Church, serving on the Staff Parish and Relations Committee and ongoing projects all year, and the Franklin Garden Club where I’ve co-chaired Programs and am the co-chair of the annual Franklin Garden Walk. I also regularly volunteer at Cass Community Services in Detroit. My family and I live in Franklin Village and we love the community and beauty of our historical town. We have become true Michiganders. We love exploring this great state and all the riches it has to offer!
