We said goodbye to this beauty today. This house was more than just a project. It was a family trusting me to finish what their loved one had started. I think we did it justice.

The new owner couldn’t be more excited and is in love with the property. That’s the best part of this for me. Sitting down with the person who will call our projects their new home. Seeing their excitement and knowing that we helped turn a house into a home!

Last week we bought a house……

Every house has a story, and while I’m excited about turning this old house into someone’s new home…. This house does not have a happy story.

Frank Jones has been my title and closing attorney since I started in Real Estate back in 2016/7. Unfortunately, after a few months of working on this house, he passed away.

I got to meet his son at the closing table. The family didn’t know what to do with the property and wanted to move past this chapter as they deal with the loss of a father, brother and friend.

I’m honored to have known Frank, and he helped me more than I can credit him over the last several years. I’m grateful that the family trusted me to finish this project. I’m lucky to have known and worked with such a kind and giving man.

This house doesn’t have a happy story, but it will have a brilliant new beginning.

We just sold our latest to a wonderful family in Alabaster, Al. This one was a project to say the least. There were many challenges but we can be proud of the end product! Things don’t always go as planned but every project provides an opportunity for learning. Excited for the new owner to enjoy this space. Hated to let this one go.
