From Bisbee, take Hwy 80 towards Douglas. (be careful at the traffic circle otherwise you will end up in Naco). As you get near Douglas, watch for Central Hwy turnoff. You will turn left onto Central Hwy. You will go exactly 3 miles. At milepost 3, you will see two pine trees and a road heading to the left. Follow the road for 1 mile and you will see a metal gate. It might be closed, but it is not locked. Let yourself in. Once through the gate, look straight ahead. The parcel on the corner is the 40 acres I have for sale. Legal description is SE 40 acres in the SE part of Sec 20, Township 23 South, Range 26 East. Most of the surrounding 2000 acres has been acquired by a local investor. He somehow obtained Gov't funding to restore the 2000 acres to natural grassland - which is what this entire area looked like in the late 1800s. In fact, back in those olden days this area was called Sulphur Springs Valley and was used by cattle ranchers to graze cattle. As you look around you might spot a few folks with trailers who over-winter here. But, otherwise, all the other land parcels are part of the 2000 acres owned by the local guy who is turning it to natural grassland. If you want peace and solitude - this is it. Park your trailer, bring your ATV, bring your guns, nobody will bother you here.
