Being a homeowner means sometimes becoming a part-time handyman... and spending a little quality time with Google. 😂

Our front door has been sticking lately. You'd unlock the deadbolt, but the door acted like it was still locked. Before calling in the professionals, I decided to do a little investigating this morning.

Google gave me a few possible causes:
🔹 Door misalignment
🔹 Loose hinges
🔹 A lock that needed lubrication

Sure enough, I grabbed a screwdriver and tightened the screws on the door hinges—and just like that, problem solved! No more sticking.

Sometimes the fix is simpler than we think. Other times, it's definitely a "call the experts" situation. But today, I'll take the homeowner win. 💪🏡
