As the Chief Capital Markets Officer at Verity Group Capital, LLC, I find myself juggling the worlds of capital markets, real estate developments, and occasionally, office humor. My role? It's like being the oracle for lucrative opportunities, minus the mystical powers and with a lot more spreadsheets. I dive deep into research and play matchmaker between our Build-to-Rent (BTR) Development Team and projects that have names fancier than a gourmet coffee menu: Heart River Villas, The Breeze, Village Views, and Confido Properties, to name a few.

Before I became the go-to guy for Capital Market wisdom at Verity Group, I was making waves at Verity Homes. Picture this: a decade-plus run as the Top Producer, raking in more than $25 million a/yr in sales revenue many of the years I sold homes. That's a lot of homes, a lot of happy families, and enough paperwork to make a forest weep.

But it's not all about the dollar signs or bragging rights. I've worn enough hats in the industry to start my own millinery. Serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committees for the BMHBA, HBA-FM, and NDAB wasn't just about shaking hands and nodding wisely; it was about making real changes, from government policies to community landscapes. And yes, I did all that while sharing my unfiltered opinions, much to the delight (or dismay) of my colleagues.

My backstory? It's got the gridiron glory of college football, with stints at North Dakota State University and Dickinson State University. Let's just say those were the days of less real estate, more real tackles, and learning that teamwork on the field translates pretty well into the world of real estate.

Now, at Verity Group Capital, LLC, it's not just about investments; it's about bringing friends and family into the fold, showing them the ropes of Build-to-Rent portfolios.
