Sometimes the most meaningful compliments come from the people who see us through the eyes of a child.

Daisy made this for me when she came to visit Studio 701, and I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite pieces of artwork I’ve ever received. The houses, the hearts, the smiles, and the very clear message made me smile from ear to ear.

Thank you, Daisy, for making my day. Your kindness, creativity, and big heart are far more special than you’ll ever know.

I’ll definitely be keeping this one. ❤️

Today is about remembering the men and women who never made it home.

Their sacrifice gave us the freedoms we enjoy every day, and that should never be taken lightly.

We remember. And we are forever grateful.

One small mistake turned into something really positive for Bismarck-Mandan.
I misspelled the word “neighborhood” on the original “20 Is Plenty” signs I made for my neighborhood. Fair enough. I deserved to be called out for it.
After thinking about it, I realized something important…if it got people talking about slowing down and paying more attention in our neighborhoods, then maybe something good could come from it too.
So I redesigned the signs and reached out to Amanda Miller and the team at United Printing to see if they would partner with me to help take this beyond just one neighborhood. Without hesitation, they stepped up in an incredibly generous way and offered to produce as many signs as we need completely free of charge for all of Bismarck-Mandan.
That says a lot about the kind of people we have in this community.
This is about safer neighborhoods for our kids, families, pets, walkers, bikers, and everyone who calls Bismarck-Mandan home.

I am truly honored to be trusted by friends to help their family with something that means so much to them. In doing so I have had the pleasure to meet some of the kindest, most thoughtful, positive people you could ever hope to meet.
Their positivity is contagious, their hearts are genuine, and I honestly feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work with them through this.
You just feel this energy the moment you walk through the door of this beautiful cabin. I truly believe the warmth they brought into this place over the years has become part of it. I have no doubt the buyers felt it too.
Grateful beyond words for the opportunity to help such wonderful people and excited for the next family that now gets to create memories of their own at Brush Lake.

The longer I do this, the more I realize the most meaningful part of it has nothing to do with houses.
It's the people.
The relationships that slowly grow over years. The conversations that go far beyond real estate. The moments where clients stop feeling like clients and simply become part of your life.
These folks are some of the most genuine, hardworking, kindhearted people I have had the privilege to know. The kind of people who restore your faith in others just by the way they live, treat people, and carry themselves.
I am incredibly grateful our paths crossed.
There are relationships in life that stay with you forever, and this is one of them.
