Technician (1099 Contractor) – West Michigan
Simple Lyfe Stays is seeking a skilled, dependable contractor to help maintain our portfolio of unique vacation rentals throughout West Michigan, including lakefront cottages, geodomes, yurts, tiny homes, and other one-of-a-kind properties.
This position includes both scheduled maintenance work and participation in our new 24/7 emergency response service for vacation rental properties.
Responsibilities: 🔥
• General property maintenance and repairs
• Light plumbing and electrical work
• Appliance troubleshooting
• Drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs
• Hot tub and spa maintenance
• Deck, dock, and seasonal property upkeep
• Winterization and preventative maintenance
• After-hours emergency response calls when on duty
Requirements: ✔️
• Reliable vehicle
• Your own tools
• General liability insurance (required)
• Clean driving record
• Comfortable using a smartphone to document work
• Ability to work independently and professionally around guests
• Availability for evening, weekend, and emergency dispatch calls
