❄ Winter Freeze Home Preparation Guide ❄

Freezing temperatures can cause major damage if a home isn’t prepared. Here’s a quick breakdown to help protect your property this winter:

🔹 Protect Pipes – Insulate exposed pipes in garages, crawlspaces, and exterior walls. Disconnect outdoor hoses, drain exterior faucets, and let indoor faucets drip during extreme cold to prevent freezing.

🔹 Keep Heat On – Set your thermostat to at least 55°F, even if the home is vacant. Open cabinet doors under sinks so warm air can circulate and make sure all rooms are getting heat.

🔹 Seal Drafts – Check doors and windows for gaps, add weather stripping or draft stoppers, and seal cracks around pipes and vents to keep cold air out.
