🎶 I wanna tell you all a story ’bout a buyer and a brand-new home… 🎶
And if this were actually Harper Valley, this is about the point where somebody would be getting called out by name. 😂
But we’re not gonna do that.
What we ARE going to do is tell you why having your own REALTOR® when you buy new construction matters.
Because, friends…
WE CLOSED. 🏡🔑🙌🏼
And this beautiful brand-new home came with a few more plot twists than anybody ordered.
There was a punch list that required some serious follow-up.
There were items we were told had been completed that, when we went back and checked for ourselves, had not.
There were last-minute issues that required persistence, documentation, a whole lot of emails, and eventually some professional guidance beyond the closing table.
And that brings us to the important part:
The builder has people representing the builder.
You deserve someone representing YOU.
Someone who asks the extra question.
Someone who goes back to check.
Someone who documents what was said.
Someone who notices when what’s on paper doesn’t match what’s standing right in front of them.
And someone who knows when something has moved beyond their lane and it’s time to bring in another professional.
Would this house have made it to the closing table without us?
Probably.
But buyer representation isn’t about unlocking doors and showing up for closing.
It’s about what happens when things don’t go according to plan.
Today, though, we’re celebrating. Because after one heck of a journey, our buyers finally have the keys to their beautiful new home. 🏡❤️
As for the rest of the story?
Well…
Harper Valley knows sometimes you save the second verse for another day. 😉🎶
