One of our favorite parts of staging is figuring out how to work with what a home already has.

This home had a lot of beautiful golden oak throughout, so we wanted to complement those existing warm wood tones with walnut toned pieces, lighter oak, green, cream and plenty of texture.

Our green bench welcomed you into the home, while the office, dining room and living room was layered in different woods, textures and seating to give the spaces their own personality while still feeling connected.

We had fun styling the fireplace with oversized art, chunky candlesticks and a vase. In the second dining area, we chose a round table to create a different look and, just as importantly, keep the walkway to the sunroom, kitchen and garage feeling open.

We carried that feeling throughout the upstairs where warm brown tones in the primary bathroom inspired us to bring brown into the bedroom through the pillows, paired with an upholstered headboard, black nightstands and warm accents.

Every room doesn’t need to match, but the whole house should feel like it belongs together. That’s what we were working toward here; complementing the home’s existing finishes while giving buyers a clear picture of how the spaces could live.

We’re pretty excited to see this one is already pending, with a Fall closing ahead.
