Sometimes you sell the flip. Sometimes you become the landlord.

This path was NOT straightforward. Two appraisals, the second one finally coming in at market value, a refinance that tested every ounce of my patience, and about 47 pivots along the way.

But I came out of it a better agent and a better investor. We are always learning.

And I think people sometimes assume real estate investing is only for people sitting on piles of cash. It can look like hard money, private investors, partnerships, home equity, refinancing, or a combination of all of it.

One of our investors reminded me through this: sometimes Plan A becomes Plan B, and somehow it all shakes out into the bigger plan.

Young Street certainly did. So grateful for everyone that made this one shake out…. ❤️

Did you know 5th graders ski FREE at Mt. Baker? ⛷️ And it probably comes as no surprise that most of my kids’ gear is secondhand because that’s the way we slide around here.

Thursday homeschool ski days have become such a core memory for our family. Full disclosure, Ryan is usually the one heading up while I happily take the quiet workday at home.
