Blue Ridge Mountain Soil and Water Conservation District to Host Georgia Beef Day

Blue Ridge Mountain Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) will be holding a public community education day for conservation and agriculture. It is sponsored by Chestatee-Chattahoochee RC&D, AGGeorgia Farm Credit, Muddy H Farms, Osborn Farms, Nelson Tractor, Farm Bureau, and other local businesses. Nearly 30 partnering agencies will be in attendance to share their knowledge and leadership with the community. Come out and learn how to conserve our natural resources while you shop for locally grown produce. There will be free hamburgers, while supplies last. The event will be held at the Union County Farmers Market located at 290 Farmers Market Way, Blairsville, GA 30512 on June 6, 2026 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. This is a free event and is open to the public.
