Let’s talk real numbers.

Example:
$250,000 home
FHA loan
3% down
6% interest rate
30-year term
$1,000 earnest money

💰 3% down = $7,500
📝 $1,000 earnest money
(goes toward your closing costs/down payment at closing)

Loan amount after down payment ≈ $242,500

At 6%, your principal & interest payment would estimate $1,455/month
(That does NOT include taxes, insurance, or FHA mortgage insurance.)

Over 30 years, you’d pay roughly $281,000+ in interest alone.

Now here’s where strategy matters 👇🏼

✨ OPTION 1: Biweekly Payments
Half your payment every 2 weeks.
That equals 13 full payments per year instead of 12.

👉🏼 Pay your home off about 4–5 years sooner
👉🏼 Save roughly $45,000–$50,000 in interest

✨ OPTION 2: Add $100 Extra Per Month
$1,555 instead of $1,455
