While refi and sales searches have waned, I love working on special projects! Two in the works in different counties right now.

On the down side, I’d forgotten how heavy and unwieldy those old books are and how hard it is to read handwritten deeds from the 1800’s! 😀

I don’t post much on this page but after over 20 years, I am happy to still be abstracting. Little did I know that brief internship at an attorney’s office in the 70’s would turn into a business decades later.

While my government job gave me a wealth of experience and training and provided well for us, it was not AT ALL fulfilling. While I did well, electronics was never “my thing”.

I’m so lucky to now have two jobs I really enjoy. And they’re strangely complementary.

My Dad once asked if I felt my degree from VUJC was wasted when I went to “the government”. My answer was education is never wasted. I had no idea at that time how it would all come together later in my life.

Retire? I have no plans to stop either “job” anytime soon!
