Homeowners considering selling their property often wonder how the proceeds from the sale will be divided. In our state, typically the seller has the bulk of the closing costs. Sellers- you want to factor in costs to stage your home properly, transfer stamps, real estate commissions, survey, attorney and title fees and moving expenses.

When I work with sellers, I prepare what is called a seller's net proceeds, which can show you your bottom line.

Here is your official spring cleaning checklist! You don't need to get overwhelmed by all the tasks. Instead, just save this post and take it one task at a time. So, without further ado, here is my suggested spring cleaning checklist:

*Dust and clean baseboards
*Degrease kitchen cabinets
*Wash those blinds
*Deep clean your appliances - inside and out! (refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, dryer)
*Clean windows inside and out
*Donate unused items
*Organize one room at a time
*Clean out your gutters
*Pressure wash the outside of your house
