The City of Bloomington welcomes residents of zip code 61701 to apply for the Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Program. Applications will be accepted yearly, starting December 1, 2022, through the end of each construction season. This opportunity is made available through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes. The program aims to abate lead-based paint through 92 units or dwellings at absolutely no cost.
