The end of the school year always feels like a celebration and a little bit of grief.

Sadie is graduating 8th grade and heading into high school. She is ready for this next chapter, so I am ready too.

Neil is finishing 4th grade and heading into 5th. He is already excited about joining the robotics club at school next year!

Lately I find myself counting summers, realizing there are fewer ahead than behind us. Parents struggling with the passage of time…I understand how you feel!

The K family wasn’t in a rush to move.

Their home had worked well for a long time. They loved their neighborhood, and nothing was wrong with the house.

But life was changing. The kids were getting older; they needed more room to spread out, more space to entertain, and a home that fit their next season of life.

A client story: A new job in a new city, and a house in Bloomington, IN that still needed to be sold.

Moving a family with kids is already a lot! Coordinating school changes, packing up the life of a family, and figuring out what comes next. The last thing they needed was to worry about what was happening back home.

So they didn’t have to worry, I became their boots on the ground.

I lined up the junk hauling, scheduled the deep clean with the cleaners, and handled all the logistics. When the buyer’s inspection came back with some repairs being needed, I handled all of it; every call, every follow-up, every detail.

They were hours and hours away, starting their next chapter. I was here, making sure this one closed the right way.

D & S loved their home but life was pulling them somewhere new.
