Oh, my Horse Farm People. This closing means so much more to me than just another SOLD.

I randomly connected with this family on a Saturday in mid-April, and by Friday, August 21st, we were finally sitting at the closing table. And what a journey it was getting there.

Mom, daughter and son-in-law were combining households from Arkansas and Missouri and making the move to Indiana, looking for that very specific property where they could create a multi-generational home together, with room for the horses and the life they envisioned.

We thought we had found it in Owensburg. We made it ALL THE WAY to closing day before they made the incredibly difficult decision to walk away. That story deserves a post of its own. 😂

But the very next day, we got back in the car, drove an hour and a half one way, and found this gem in Pimento. And looking back now, I think we ended up exactly where we were supposed to be.

This transaction had twists, turns, disappointments, long drives, a whole lot of problem-solving, and probably more than a few moments where we all wondered if we were ever going to get to say these words...

WE MADE IT. THEY’RE HOME. ❤️

Somewhere along the way, these three stopped feeling like clients and became family. I absolutely adore them, and I am so incredibly grateful that one random Saturday phone call in April brought them into my life.

My buyer found the one, but we weren't the only ones who saw the potential. We walked straight into a multiple-offer situation, so there wasn't much time to hesitate.
