In the last couple of months two of my friends had their pages stolen - somehow they got locked out of it and can’t get it back - all their history is gone and they had to create new accounts. Of course what do most people assume when they get a new friend request from existing friend? The second request must be a hack so they decline the request. So really hard to rebuild your new profile on Facebook.

The posts on their stolen accounts are all about how successful they have been with crypto trading and how they have helped lots of people do the same thing (and sharing photos of their friends new houses, boats, holding signs of how much debt they paid off, etc). This person’s goal is to get your friends to ask how they can get in on these “amazing, profitable deals.” One post was of a picture of “his” new diploma for Certified Bitcoin Professional. One was of a laptop screen showing how much “his” money has grown and how much “he” pulled out that day. These jerks are going to extreme steps to steal money from people by making it seem so realistic. I hope that most people would question the ability to earn $490k in four months but some will fall for it and get suckered into the scam by sending some money to get started. Then, when they will start seeing how fast their money is growing on this fake platform, they put more money into their new account. Unfortunately, when they are ready to pull their money out, they are suddenly ghosted because it’s not real. I am sharing some samples of the posts from one of my friends stolen profile (name has been blocked for privacy).
