Today may be Indiana’s highest tornado threat of the spring. We have a few extra reminders:
▪️Keep phones and devices charged
▪️Keep wallet and keys nearby
▪️Safe place ready (everyone knows the plan)
▪️Wear shoes
▪️Rain jacket or water proof bag ready
▪️Extra water and storm snacks
▪️Gather important documents or keep in safe
▪️Have ID on your pets
▪️Car seats for kids
▪️Helmet ready if needed (bicycle is good)
▪️For insurance: Have recent photos of your house and belongings in case of damage
▪️Vehicles full gas tanks
▪️Extra water in a bathtub in case power loss
▪️Bag of supplies ready: Cash, medicines, whistle, flash light, small ziploc of dog food,
▪️Keep in touch with family, give them updates that you are okay during / after storm

These are just a few tips. Not everyone is going to get the worst storm. However you can be prepared just in case! Your WTHR weather team will track every storm from state line to state line across Indiana.
