💲💲The Shakopee Residential Rehab Loan Program offers 0% interest deferred loans of $15,000–$35,000 to Shakopee homeowners.
😃No monthly payments — repay only when there is a change in ownership or occupancy, or if the property is refinanced.
😮Eligible repairs include, but are not limited to, necessary repairs such as roofs, furnaces, insulation, plumbing, windows, electrical, and accessibility modifications.
⭐To qualify, the home must be a single-family home, townhome, or condo in the city of Shakopee that is at least 20 years old. HUD income limits range from $73,650 for a household of one to $138,900 for a household of eight.
This program is administered by the Scott County CDA on behalf of the City of Shakopee and is funded through Local Affordable Housing Aid (LAHA)—a state program financed by a quarter-cent sales tax across the metro area. 💲Through LAHA, cities and counties receive an annual allocation to invest in affordable housing programs in their communities.
