IU’s Little 500 is a highlight of the spring semester with a rich history sponsored by the IU Student Foundation.
The 2026 Indiana University Foundation Little 500 race marks the 75th year of racing for a purpose. Since the first men's Little 500 race in May 1951, the nation’s largest collegiate bike race has raised thousands of dollars for the university community — and this year is no different. 🚴
This year’s peer-to-peer Students Helping Students campaign focuses on supporting students’ essential needs, including food, housing and healthcare.
“As the cost of living continues to increase, providing accessible funding for essential needs will ensure more of our students can thrive,” said Aimie DeLeon, assistant director of lifetime engagement at the IU Student Foundation. “The Students Helping Students campaign demonstrates that IU students can make a difference now that will have a life-changing impact on students for years to come.”
