Saw this from River Valley Dock & Door LLC and wanted to pass it along.
When sellers ask me where to put money before listing, the garage door comes up more often than you'd think. It's one of the biggest things buyers see from the street, and it's almost always in the listing photo.
The numbers support it. In the National Association of Realtors' 2022 Remodeling Impact Report, a new garage door was estimated to recover 100% of its cost at resale. That tied a new roof for the best return among exterior projects. Homeowners who replaced theirs also rated the project a 9 out of 10 for satisfaction.
That's a rare combination. Most projects either help your sale price or make life better while you're living there. This one does both.
Fall is a good time to get it done before the weather turns, and it's great to see local folks doing quality work here in the Susquehanna Valley.
