We are incredibly proud of our Attorney Marissa Marshall, who serves as Vice-Chair of the Regional Board for the Community Giving Foundation.
Recently, the Foundation brought together grant recipients, donors, and community partners to celebrate the incredible impact that charitable giving can have across our communities. As part of the event, Marissa introduced the Foundation’s newly established Economic Mobility Fund, created to address some of our communities’ most critical needs and help individuals and families move toward greater opportunity, security, and overall well-being.
We are especially excited to celebrate the Regional Board’s announcement of its inaugural $20,000 grant to the Getting Ahead Foundation , an investment that will help create meaningful opportunities and strengthen our community.
At Kreisher Marshall & Associates, we believe that being part of our community means more than serving our clients. It means investing in the people, organizations, and initiatives that help our communities thrive. We’re looking for a friendly, professional, dependable, and highly organized individual to join our elder law team!
Our Receptionist/Scheduler is often the first point of contact for our clients and families, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people and can provide a welcoming, compassionate experience while keeping a busy office organized.

Responsibilities include:
☎️ Answering and directing telephone calls
📅 Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
👋 Greeting clients and visitors
💬 Communicating with clients and families
🗂️ Assisting with general administrative and office duties
✅ Keeping schedules and front-office operations organized and on track

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a professional and compassionate demeanor.

Prior experience in a law office, medical office, professional office, or scheduling position is a plus.

💜 NEW: Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support Group – Northumberland County 💜
Caring for or supporting someone living with Alzheimer’s or dementia can bring many challenges—and you don’t have to face them alone.
Kreisher Marshall & Associates is proud to share the launch of a new Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support Group for Northumberland County, beginning Thursday, August 27th, and continuing on the fourth Thursday of each month.
Led by Melissa Sauger, MSW, the group will provide a welcoming space to:
💜 Develop a supportive network with others who understand
💜 Talk through challenges, concerns, and experiences
💜 Learn ways to cope and navigate difficult situations
💜 Learn about helpful community resources
💜 Share, listen, and know that you are not alone
Whether you are a caregiver, family member, friend, or supporting someone living with dementia, you are welcome.

👟 We Stepped Up for a Great Cause! 💜
The Visiting Angels Shoe Drive for a Cause has officially wrapped up, and we are so proud to share that Kreisher Marshall & Associates collected an incredible 193 pairs of shoes, weighing a total of 209.84 pounds! 👟👏
All proceeds from the shoe drive benefit the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, helping support the Alzheimer’s Association and its mission to make a difference for those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Our Elder Care Coordinator, Elaine Spicher, and Outreach and Community Liaison, Michelle Kozak, were honored to attend the celebration of a storage unit filled with shoes collected throughout the community! 💜
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who donated. Your support, generosity, and dedication to the Alzheimer’s Association mean so much. Together, we are making a difference—one pair of shoes at a time! 👟💜
