Marketing & Sales Specialist – Linda & her partner, Patti Turner form the Robinson/Turner Team. In 2016, they sold over 17 million dollars of property in the High Country - ranking them in the Top 1% in the 3-County MLS region. They had 62 total transactions, and 48 homes that they listed were SOLD in 2016! Linda joined the Village Real Estate team in November 2013 after 4 exceptional years at an
other High Country, national, firm where she was their Top Producing Realtor each of those years. There, Linda annually garnered national awards as one of corporate’s highest producing listing and highest producing sales agents in the country. Linda is goal and success oriented with a personal relationship focus. Her background mirrors her approach in life and how she works with clients. Patti possesses a wealth of experience and strong negotiation skills. She finds ways to make things work for our clients. Appalachian State University hired Linda in 1984 as their head women’s basketball coach, after she had served in that same role at UNC-Pembroke the previous 5 years. After 13 years coaching at Appalachian and posting numerous championships, Linda completed a Ph.D. and served as an associate vice chancellor in academic affairs at ASU for 12 years. In this role, she worked on a multitude of equity and diversification issues, including harassment and discrimination, problem resolution, and various aspects of hiring faculty and administrators. Linda is in the Athletic Hall of Fame at Appalachian State, as well as Mars Hill College where she obtained her bachelor’s degree. Linda has lived in Blowing Rock since 1984. She has been active in various community organizations and endeavors. Linda loves her Aussies – Shiner & her newest baby, Breeze – rescue blue merle & red merle Aussies, respectively. She is frequently seen all over the High Country with “the kids”. She loves hitting tennis balls – just for pure fun and in league play. Linda states, “I know the High Country well and love it.
